Bathroom Remodeling

Home & School proudly announces the demolition has begun in the lobby Boys’ restroom. As promised, Home & School dedicated the proceeds from the 2012 Walk-a-thon and Market Day Pie Sales as well as $2000 of the general H&S funds to renovate both the Boys’ and Girls’ restrooms in the school lobby. We’d like to thank the St. Rose Ladies’ Club, Athletic Association, and school family for their monetary contributions that demonstrate their support of this Home & School effort. Both bathrooms will receive new wall and floor tiles, partitions, sinks and countertops. While the toilets are in good shape to date and not part of the original estimate, there are efforts underway to investigate upgrading them as well. Please thank Steve Reinkemeyer and Bob Limmer for donating time and talent beyond the standard work day on campus to make these renovations possible. At this time the budget does not accommodate upgrades to some of the secondary fixtures like lighting, mirrors and paper/soap dispensers; however, if anyone has any contacts that might be interested in making donations to replace those existing items, feel free to let us know (Co-Presidents Cara Koen or Kasey Healy). Stay tuned for more updates on the progress of this exciting Home & School project.
